Adampol SA Company which specializes in international and national car, delivery truck and truck transportation, chose 7milowy to carry out a comprehensive SAP system implementation.
Implementation of the SAP Business All-in-One system (SPRINT) will include management of the financial aspects (SAP FI) and controlling (SAP CO), as well as materials management (SAP MM) and sales and distribution (SAP SD). The system will also enable facilitating of SAP functions in human resources and pay areas (HR).
SAP will be integrated with transportation and shipping systems common for that sector which are being used by Adampol, including the in-house software TLS. In order to do that 7milowy will build interfaces which will allow of exchanging information about orders generated in TLS such as transport orders, car disassembly orders (extra services provided by Adampol), and information which support the operating of a repair service as well as the processes of car accident and claim management services.
Kamil Mazurkiewicz, Financial Director of Adampol SA, points out that: ‘In order to effectively manage a fleet of vehicles, related logistic processes and to shorten the time of delivering services while optimizing costs, we use state-of-the-art IT solutions starting with a single car equipped with a GPS satellite monitoring system and going on to advanced tools for route planning, shipment and transport optimization. SAP system will join all these applications into one complex system, which will play the part of a supervisory managing and analytical platform in the company’.
SAP SPRINT which 7milowy offers is a SAP system with modeled business processes. ‘What matters in transportation and shipping services is the duration of time in which we get from point A to point B. Other than implementation and integration works, 7milowy will also provide licenses and servicing within SAP Enterprise Support.
The functionality of SAP SPRINT will be appreciated by close to 60 employees of Adampol.
Development works started in January and the system launch is planned for 1 October 2013.
