BCC launched a service of SAP application support. From the beginning of March it has already been used by the first clients.
Application support service is targeted at companies using SAP systems. Within a fixed payment BCC consultants give a remote support to users in solving problems that come up during system use. Moreover client’s SAP system is constantly monitored to find possible errors either in user-entered data or in areas that in future can cause problems in system functioning.
One of the advantages of the new BCC product is lower SAP maintenance expenses. Use costs for the system are possible to forecast, as the service is provided under a permanent agreement with strictly defined range of service and a fixed payment. Additionally, the system is supervised by specialists experienced in supporting SAP installation, who solve problems quickly and efficiently. System users may then focus on their basic scope of duties. Similarly, an IT department in a company can focus on developing IT solutions and making them more efficient instead of dealing with current, repetitive user inquiries.
Application support offered by BCC concerns the following SAP functionalities: financial and assets accounting (modules FI, FI-AA), controlling (CO), material management (MM), sales and distribution (SD), personnel and payroll management (HR), SAP BW (SAP Business Warehouse), mySAP SEM (Strategic Enterprise Mgmt.). From the beginning of March first clients have been using the service (one of them is Opoczno SA).
Apart from application support, for a few years BCC has been also providing technical SAP support for its clients that consists in remote supervision of security and efficiency of clients’ SAP systems and assistance in planned system development. This service is provided by BCC to Amica Wronki, Elite Café and others.
