BCC reported building a strong competence center in SAP NetWeaver integration platform. BCC consultants are carrying out the first in Poland implementations using this method and are obtaining new certificates to confirm their expertise in SAP NetWeaver components.
The SAP NetWeaver services are a strategic development area for BCC. Since 2004 the company has been holding a status of SAP Expert Partner in this area. During 2004 BCC created over 20-people team of consultants who use SAP NetWeaver components in SAP implementations and its integration with other IT systems.
The team’s skills are confirmed by the following certificates obtained by BCC consultants, often as the first ones in Poland:
– Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform,
– Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver – ABAP Workbench,
– Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver 04 – Enterprise Portal,
– Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver´04 – Exchange Infrastructure & Integration,
– Technology Consultant SAP NetWeaver´04 – Exchange Infrastructure & Integration.
Under a decision by SAP AG, which is SAP headquarters in Germany, the BCC competence center was incorporated into a world-wide ramp-up project, within which SAP transfers to its chosen partners the latest versions of its solutions, now being created. The partners who participate in the ramp-up SAP NetWeaver project test the solutions and, by passing their comments on to SAP AG, actively create their final shape. Taking part in the ramp-up gives BCC consultants from the SAP NetWeaver competence center an access to the solutions that will become available in the market only in some time in the future.
The team of BCC consultants is taking part in the first in Poland projects that largely use SAP NetWeaver components, for clients such as Grupa Żywiec, Ferrero Polska, Polkomtel SA and Opoczno SA. Moreover, the consultants give training in SAP NetWeaver to the teams of SAP administrators in the biggest Polish companies using their original training program. During training BCC consultants pass the knowledge on J2EE technology for SAP Web Application Server 6.40, WebDynpro for SAP Web Application Server 6.40, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Exchange Infrastructure, SAP Mobile Infrastructure and others.
SAP NetWeaver is an open SAP integration and application platform, currently one of the most important solutions in the SAP offer. The platform allows to easily integrate SAP systems with all most important IT products and technologies available in the market. SAP NetWeaver integrates processes in developed IT environments both within a company and among business partners. By using SAP NetWeaver platform clients reduce their total costs of IT infrastructure maintenance.
