BCC reports a substantial increase in income on SAP implementation and development in comparison with year 2003.
In comparison of the result from first three quarters of 2004 (PLN 16.9m) with those from three quarters of 2003, it can be seen that the increase amounts to 28%. This was possible thanks to the growth of the team of consultants and sub-contractors working for BCC clients.
Currently the company employs 58 consultants specializing in SAP implementations and development and project managing. Since the beginning of 2004 their number has grown by 20%.
A developing area is BCC services that comprise remote support for administrators and users working on SAP system. Now these services are being provided by a special team of service consultants that cooperate with more then ten clients. Last May the BCC service organization was granted a SAP Competence Center certificate as the first of SAP Polish partners. This entitles us to provide services that so far have been done only by the global SAP service organization.
The increase in BCC income has alse been greatly influenced by services concerning new SAP products – including Business Intelligence solutions (data warehouse SAP BW, strategic enterprise management SAP SEM), customer relationship management mySAP CRM and an integration platform SAP NetWeaver. In all those areas BCC has been named SAP expert partner.
A new direction of development is granting BCC clients a database of checked and tested sub-contractors – they are SAP consultants-freelancers. Intending to make the cooperation with sub-contractors more efficient, the company started a special Portal of BCC Sub-contractors on its website. It includes basic information on cooperating with BCC. The portal gives a possibility to register in the database of sub-contractors and through this get commissions to participate in implementations carried out by BCC. Now we have a few dozen external consultants registered in the portal.
‘In some projects we propose our clients hiring our tested sub-contractors, SAP consultants, working independently or employees of other, smaller companies implementing SAP. As the project leader, BCC guarantees high quality of works and at the same time gives clients a possibility to use sub-contractors’ sometimes unique experience. With a bigger team we can be more flexible in reacting to our clients’ needs’, said Bartłomiej Buszczak, consulting director in BCC.
