A project currently carried out by BCC comprises preparing and starting interfaces that will ensure proper co-operation between a transactional platform ce-market.com and the SAP system used in Impexmetal SA.
The project was commissioned by the company ce-market.com SA (a 100% subsidiary of Impexmetal SA), a creator and operator of an Internet transactional platform for trading in metals. After BCC has implemented integration solutions, the platform ce-market.com will be used for automatization of selling the products manufactured by the units of the Impexmetal capital group: Hutmen SA, a Non-ferrous Metals Works Szopienice SA and Walcownia Metali (Rolling Mill) Dziedzice SA.
The solution, integrated with the transactional platform ce-market.com, will improve sales management by giving access to a centralized tool which in turn will help in negotiations with customers of the Impexmetal capital group. The new solution will offer a complete support for sales processes both during specification and post-sales service.
An inquiry will be entered into the ce-market.com system (with the use of BCC-created solutions), next it will be exported to SAP as a contract and order specification (product, kind, quantity, expected delivery term). In the system-defined response time a salesman will create an offer quoting prices and delivery term. Further stages of settling order terms will be reflected in the system till the negotiations have been finished and an order has been placed. This will allow to follow the negotiations in all sales processes. Moreover, the solution will also show a history of settlements with a particular customer (information on issued invoices and payment status).
