BCC will present SAP Enterprise Portal at Vienna's TechED'05, the largest SAP technology conference

Participants of the SAP TechED’05 conference, scheduled to take place in Vienna on 21-23 September, will take part in BCC presentation: “Single Sign-On in SAP Enterprise Portal”.

TechED is the biggest annual meeting of SAP clients and partners from all over the world, where the latest SAP technologies and development trends are presented.

BCC presentation has been chosen as one of the most attractive out from 100 drafts from all over the world via a vote by the users of SAP Developer Network portal. The SDN portal constitutes a forum for exchanging the newest SAP NetWeaver developments among SAP clients, consultants and programmers. BCC is noted by a world SDN ranking among the most active in SAP NetWeaver development as the first Polish company. At the same time it is the highest-ranked SAP implementation company from Central-Eastern Europe.

Single sign-on, a functionality available in SAP Enterprise Portal (SAP EP) gives users an access to various IT systems without the necessity to introduce a user’s name and a password to every application separately; it is enough for a user to log in to SAP EP, or even to his or her own computer only. The presentation will deal with the Single Sign-On configuration, using an access to SAP and non-SAP solutions from SAP EP and finally with issues related to the solution security.
