Bilfinger Infrastructure, one of the leading construction companies on the Polish market, has started using the SAP ERP system since the beginning of the year 2013.
As part of the project, the functionalities of Financial Accounting (FI), Asset Accounting (AA), Joint-Venture Accounting (JVA), Controlling (CO), Project Management (PS), as well as Materials Management (MM) along with the support of the purchase processes have been launched. Bilfinger Infrastructure uses also the solutions of SAP Business Workflow (WF) that support among other the purchase and purchasing processes.
In response to the specific needs of Bilfinger company, BCC has also developed and implemented proprietary applications supporting the payment approval process and settlements of the steel and bituminous mass production. Another innovative solution developed for the needs of workflow is the processing of e-mails along with the attachments (i.e. parsing).
The SAP implementation was executed by BCC with SAP specialists from the Bilfinger competence centre (so called SCIT), responsible for the maintenance and development of IT systems in the enterprise.
Currently, as part of the contract signed in the mid-April, BCC provides for Bilfinger the services of the SAP application management in the scope of FI, FI/AA, MM and Workflow.
