Business Consulting Center (BCC) made their first contract to implement R/3 SPRINT – a preconfigured SAP R/3 system for medium size companies. R/3 SPRINT will be used by Elite Cafe sp. z o.o. – a coffee producer, who also makes the known brand – Pedros.
Implementation works will start in the early July, this year. Operating of R/3 SPRINT is planned to be started in January, 2001.
Prepared by BCC R/3 SPRINT is a pre-configured version of SAP R/3 system designed for quick set up. Due to significant reduction of the implementation costs, this solution is much cheaper (even by 50%) than it is in the classic implementations that are currently made.
R/3 SPRINT includes solutions within the following modules of SAP R/3: financial accounting (FI), controlling (CO), assets accounting (FI-AA), material and supply management (MM) sales and distribution (SD).

Elite Cafe sp. z o.o. is a leader in coffee market in Poland – the biggest coffee roasting plant in the country. Elite plant has a production capacity of 30 thousand tons a year, which makes amount equal to almost half of total consumption in Poland. The most known Elite brand is the popular Pedros coffee. Elite production facilities are located in Swadzim near Poznan.
