In April 2013 BCC has initiated the implementation of SAP ERP in Rossmann Supermarkety Drogeryjne Polska.
Rossmann is the largest drugstore chain in Poland, comprising currently 730 stores in 330 cities. The implementation of the SAP system includes the areas of finance, fixed assets and controlling.
As part of the project the BCC consultants will also prepare interfaces for the exchange of data between SAP ERP and other IT solutions, including system supporting the sales in retail outlets, solutions supporting recording of the inventory movements as also the application used for budgeting.
First users will start working in SAP ERP in early March next year.
Rossmann Polska is a network of self-service drugstores whose share in the chemical and cosmetic market amounts to 20%. Rossmann Polska belongs to the capital and commercial group created by Rossmann GmbH and A.S. Watson. It includes over 10 000 drugstores in 33 countries of Europe and Asia. The group employs a total of more than 100 000 employees.
