Since May this year our customers have the opportunity to test SAP HANA at SAP HANA Competence Center at BCC. BCC, as the first Polish SAP implementation partner, has invested in its own hardware and software laboratory for SAP HANA.
SAP HANA is an innovative technology based on in-memory computing (In-Memory). The SAP HANA revolution consists in the transfer of large data sets management from the disk to the operating memory, which opens completely newpossibilities for data handling, reporting and analysis.
“SAP HANA Competence Center at BCC brings together the knowledge and experience of the BCC experts in the field of Business Intelligence and SAP technology. We have now additionally invested in a laboratory” – says Krzysztof Siwiec, Business Development Manager at BCC.
Launched in May this year SAP HANA laboratory is a dedicated hardware and software platform in the In-Memory technology installed at the Data Processing Center at BCC along with the advanced SAP HANA database (in-memory) solution to cooperate with a set of SAP Business Suite IT solutions.
„Our laboratory allows to test the use of SAP HANA to process the data in a specific SAP system that is functioning with the customer and to realisticly assess the benefits, including – if accelerated, data processing thanks to SAP HANA. We estimate that on the average SAP HANA enhances the processing speed for the SAP ERP systems ten times and for the data warehouse SAP BW – it is even a hundredfold acceleration” – says Krzysztof Siwiec.
The offer of business case SAP HANA projects consisting in testing the use of SAP HANA for processing in a given SAP system is addressed to all companies using SAP, interested in achieving significant progress in the efficiency of data processing.
