Wolters Kluwer Polska: SAP CRM for 200 000 customers

BCC is realizing a multi-stage implementation of SAP CRM in Wolters Kluwer Polska, a leading company on the Polish market of professional information.

Wolters Kluwer Polska (WKP) is the biggest national publisher of professional information in the fields of law and business. The core business of this publishing house is publication of books and magazines as well as preparation and management of specialist Internet websites.

For many years the company has been using the SAP ERP system, which was also implemented by BCC. At present BCC consultants are implementing the SAP CRM solution version 5.0, which will support management of relationships with over 200 000 customers – receivers of publications and services of WKP.

The processes which SAP CRM will support include, among others, pre-sale processes management, marketing campaigns management and their financial control as well as automatic scheduling of customer service, which is particularly crucial in the case of updated products.

„The most important goal of the CRM project is raising the sales efficiency. We want to achieve it through, among other things, exact identification of the needs of particular customer groups and through closer coordination of cooperation between the sales and marketing departments” – says Paweł Wójcik, Director for Logistics and Production and the SAP CRM Project Manager for WKP.

SAP CRM will be ultimately used by approximately 200 persons. The first functions of the solution will be initiated in September 2008, and the others will be made available stage by stage until the beginning of 2009.

The SAP CRM project in WKP is one of the biggest SAP CRM projects in Poland. This solution on such a big scale was first implemented, also with the support of BCC, in Grupa Żywiec. BCC enjoys the title of Partner Expert of SAP in the field of SAP CRM.
