SAP Workflow

Flow of information and tasks between employees

SAP Business Workflow (SAP WF) engines automate the flow of information and tasks between employees that handle a given process. In this way, they streamline activities performed as part of this process. We offer the deployment of SAP Workflow in each SAP area, including Workflow for SAP FI, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP HR.

Fast and efficient performance of the process largely depends on the passing of information between elements and phases of the process. In most cases, the passing of information, or even the execution of certain steps of the process automatically and systematically accelerates and increases the efficiency of whole areas of the company’s operation. This is what workflow engines are used for (SAP Business Workflow). A well-modelled and implemented workflow process not only streamlines and accelerates activities, but also makes user work more enjoyable and reduces the engagement of human resources.

SAP Business Workflow is a tool that automates activities and puts them in order within the business processes supported by SAP. The persons involved in the handling of a process modelled in the system, receive electronic notifications (in the form of e-mails) about events recorded in the system, and information about the tasks that they should perform in connection with a given event.

To enable SAP Business Workflow to be used, we build a so-called Workflow scenario on top of a process that already exists in the SAP system. The Workflow scenario specifies what messages and/or tasks to be performed are to be generated with which events and for whom.
