Flexible planning of working time by line managers
Wherever there is a need to manage the working time of a large group of employees (production plants, supermarket chains, call centres, shared service centres) a period work schedule is created. The period work schedule is continuously changed, also in the context of ordered overtime or assigned on-call time. Persons responsible for work planning (e.g. department managers, shift managers) should during a daily work schedule planning include a wide range of legal aspects pursuant to the labour code, internal regulations related to employees and their groups as well as other data (e.g. planned leaves). Additionally, the data of real worked time should be included in a remuneration calculation without errors and delays.
SNP E-Time, an easy-to-use Internet application, makes up a friendly work environment for department managers, gathering the data related to working time planning in one place. The managers obtain access to a clear table with a list of their subordinate employees, and are able to update their daily work schedule on an ongoing basis. Based on SAP HR data, the application blocks the entering of incorrect data (e.g. working time exceeding FTE for an employee, interval between shifts shorter than required by the law; on-call time falling on the day of a planned leave).
The data fromSNP E-Time application can be used to calculate working time. Payroll preparation can be based on both the data entered into SNP eTime by a manager (a period work schedule with its further daily changes) and the data from other sources (e.g. from RCP – working time registration – application).
