SNP Stock by Batch Reporter
Reporting stock levels by batch characteristics
If the materials used in the manufacturing process are managed in batches, companies often use the batch characteristics to additionally describe and classify them – this happens in the case of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products. Standard reports on stock levels in SAP are limited to providing information about the quantities of batches in warehouses. To obtain information about the details stored in the characteristics of these batches, you must perform a separate analysis for each of them.
SNP Stock by Batch Reporter generates a list of stock levels just as a standard SAP functionality, complementing them on the same screen with the relevant data from the batch characteristics. More importantly, the user can select himself the characteristics that are to appear in the report as additional columns. Additionally, if you need to find substitutes – materials with specific properties in the batch characteristics – you get a full list of materials in conjunction with their key data on a single screen.
The main benefit of implementing the report is the saving of time – the system carries out a full analysis of the batch characteristics itself, regardless of the classification types of individual materials. In addition, we eliminate the probability of an error, which frequently occurs in manual preparation of a summary report.
The report is dedicated to companies that use the SAP system and avail themselves of the classification of batches to describe their characteristics.
