Polish leader in the clothing industry streamlines human capital management thanks to the latest SAP solutions

The LPP company, one of the most dynamically developing clothing companies in Central and Eastern Europe, the owner of the Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito and Sinsay brands, together with SNP Poland, launched an innovative platform for HR process management. It consists of SAP SuccessFactors tools, SAP HR system and SNP applications, including SNP E-Time, which reduces the time of preparing monthly work schedules in the store to just a few minutes.

The IT undertaking was a response to the need to improve personnel processes in the sales network in Poland with almost 1000 stores. The purpose of the changes was to implement the HR tool, allowing for effective and quick implementation of all personnel events in the dispersed employment structure, with particular emphasis on the time management module. As a result, employees and managers were provided with a self-service portal and a central HR department with a tool for monitoring and remote management of HR processes.

Over 10 thousand employees of Reserved stores and other LPP brands in Poland were covered by new HR solutions.

An important element of the new platform is the SuccessFactors Employee Central solution. The application, available in the cloud model (SaaS – Software as a Service) through a web browser, provides a wide range of employee self-service functions. On the other hand, payroll calculation is performed in SAP HR system, which was integrated by SNP specialists with SuccessFactors solution.

A key innovation is the SNP E-Time application, which provides store managers with the flexibility to plan teams’ working hours. The application automatically takes into account the legal conditions and specific needs of each employee (e.g. working only on selected days of the week, at specific hours).

“Creating work schedules in stores is a critical process for us, as it determines the availability of our employees for customers and the ability to adjust the appropriate number of staff to the schedule of tasks in the store. On the one hand, the schedule must be optimal from the point of view of the effectiveness of the work of a team of several dozen people, and on the other hand – fully compliant with the labour law and the availability of the employees. Until now, a manager had to spend even two to three days to create such a plan every month. Now, thanks to the E-Time SNP, managers using the automatic shift filling function prepare monthly schedule in just a few minutes. On a scale of hundreds of stores, this brings enormous savings," comments Danka Krzysiak, Head of HR Administration and Payroll at LPP SA.

The HR platform is complemented by other solutions, such as the SNP E-Payslips application for displaying electronic pay slips, the application sending notifications to employees and managers via e-mail or SMS. All solutions are prepared by the SNP in the innovative SAP UI5 technology for the SAP Cloud Platform, allowing for flexible development of solutions in the future.

LPP SA is one of the most dynamically developing clothing companies in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. For over 25 years, the company has been consistently operating in Poland and abroad, achieving successes on the demanding clothing market. LPP SA manages 5 fashion brands: Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito i Sinsay. The company has a network of over 1700 stores and on-line shops of all its brands and creates jobs for about 25 thousand people in offices and sales structures in Poland, Europe, Asia and Africa.
